How we handle
personal information.

Source Intelligence builds AI systems and automations for Australian residential construction businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and the name of your business.
• Answers you provide in a form, including questions about your business such as turnover band or which tasks take up your week.
• Correspondence: emails, messages and notes from calls with you.
• Business documents you choose to share with us during a call or a build, such as sample invoices, quotes or contracts. We only ask for what a piece of work requires.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, bank logins, passwords, credit card numbers or government identity documents.

How we collect it

• Forms on this website. Submissions are delivered to our inbox by a form handling service.
• Lead forms you complete on Facebook or Instagram. When you submit one of these, Meta passes your responses to us.
• Emails and calls initiated by you.
• Our community platform, if you choose to join it.

Why we use it

• To contact you about the call or service you asked for.
• To prepare and deliver work you have engaged us to do.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To keep records of what we agreed and what we delivered.

If you ask us for something and then tell us you are not interested, we stop contacting you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not trade it. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only so far as they need it. These include advertising and lead delivery platforms, email, form handling and document services, spreadsheet and storage services, and scheduling tools.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By giving us your information you accept that it may be handled overseas by those providers under their own terms.

Automation and human review

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, using access controls and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we may reasonably need them to answer you or to keep a record of a piece of work. If you ask us to delete your details and we are not required to keep them, we will.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time, ordinarily within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version always sits at this address, with the date it was last changed shown at the top.
